These terms apply to the Learning Waypoints tools and website. By using them, you agree to what follows.

The tools

Learning Waypoints provides a suite of free curriculum tools for educators. Several are in active development, and availability, features, and behaviour may change. The tools are provided at no cost.

Acceptable use

Please use the tools lawfully and as intended. You agree not to attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the tools or the systems that run them, not to misuse them to infringe the rights of others, and not to use them for any unlawful purpose.

Your content

You keep ownership of any content you create, paste, or import. Learning Waypoints claims no ownership of it. For local-only tools, that content stays on your device. For Marp Importer, the content you paste is used only to build pages in your own Canva design.

Marp Importer and Canva

Marp Importer runs inside Canva. When you use it, Canva's own terms and policies apply in addition to these terms.

Intellectual property

The tools, their code, and the Learning Waypoints name and branding are the property of Learning Waypoints. These terms do not grant you any rights to them beyond using the tools as provided.

No warranty

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Learning Waypoints is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the tools.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the tools after a change means you accept the updated terms.
